Curvaceous Dynamic Angel

Simfani Blue (pronounced SYMPHONY BLUE) defines her music as an original mixture of soul and jazz, now called new classic or neo soul. The Dayton, Ohio native is a writer, vocal arranger, musician and producer. Soundclick.com and over 750,000 Internet users alike have dubbed Simfani’s “the voice of an angel”, making her one of mp3.com’s top twenty downloaded artists. While making her virtual home on mp3.com, she held the number one spot for the most downloaded R&B song for a combined total of five weeks (downloads and chart positions are measured daily) selling over 200 albums on her web site with virtually no promotion outside of word-of-mouth. Simfani has garnered fans from around the globe in countries including Japan, Germany, Italy and the United States receiving anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 downloads per month. Simfani has an impressive catalog of songs, which led to a John Lennon Songwriting Award in the 2001 competition.

ARTIST UPDATE...
Simfani Blue has informed the Vision Radio Network that 100% of all proceeds from the sale of Her album, Love Addiction, will be donated to the American Red Cross in support of the victims of Katrina - She also points out that the Hurricane has displaced some 750,000 Americans who are now homeless...

So, if you don't have the album yet, now's a great time! Soothing, easy music and a small token to help American families in crisis. Remember, all album proceeds will benefit the Hurricane Victims.

The sexy Simfani, standing a curvaceous 5’9”, relocated from Dayton, Ohio to Los Angeles with only $47 in her pocket, and a song in her heart. She quickly began picking up session, touring and acting work, and was offered a development deal with Capitol Records, just as the Black Music Division was "restructured". Unaffected by this "slight change of plans", Simfani saw it as a sign that she needed to continue to write and create...and that's exactly what she did. Miss Blue has worked with such artists and producers as: Dwayne Wiggins, Kenneth Crouch, Saafir, (featured vocalist on Crawl Before You Ball, Qwest Records), Kool Moe Dee (featured on his comeback project in 2000, on Reprise Records, which was unfortunately never released), Spice One (featured on the upcoming 2003 release on the opening single produced by Battlecat on XtraLaced Records), Capitol Recording Artist, Pru, and the legendary Roger Troutman; in either live performances or studio sessions.

Simfani has just completed her debut CD on which she produced 17 of the disc's 19 tracks. Four of the songs, including the single, Three, were co-produced with Canadian artist/producer Uness. The recording also features one song produced by hit production team Great Dane Productions. All songs were written by Miss Blue along with all vocals, background vocals and vocal arrangements. There is definitely something ethereal about the way she sings.
